About Elizabeth

Hi! I’m Elizabeth

I am a southern California based professional flutist and educator. In addition to performing and teaching, I also run and operate sempre|flute, my handmade business providing flutists with premium instrument care.

In my flute studio, I believe in not only in developing talented musicians, but also highly driven, successful human beings. I believe it’s my duty as an educator to not only teach the flute, but to also mentor and guide young musicians to become advantageous members of society.

Students in my studio benefit from highly-tailored and individualistic approaches to flute playing in their lessons, where each and every lesson is taught within the alignment of their own unique learning style, with an emphasis on goal-orientation. Success looks different for every student, and I strive to make each lesson enjoyable and productive for every single one of them.

This type of philosophy allows each student to thrive, building confidence one lesson at a time, developing students’ trust in themselves with each attainable goal that they achieve. These valuable life-skills transfer over to every aspect of personal and professional life, and I seek to highlight that relevance throughout my instruction.
